We use Convex’s PostHog project to understand which pages, chapters and interactive demos get used. We do not record your screen or send form contents or email addresses to PostHog.

Analytics uses a temporary identifier held only in memory for the current page, not analytics cookies or a stored visitor identifier. It does not recognise you when you return. You can disable it below, and we honour supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. If you change your preference, we store only that choice in this browser.

If you subscribe for new explainers, we send a confirmation link before adding your email address to the dedicated Convex Explained list in Resend. We use that address only for new-explainer announcements. Every announcement includes an unsubscribe link.

The video in Build Your Own Convex only loads from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) after you click play. Until then it’s just a thumbnail served from this site. Once you click play, YouTube’s privacy policy applies.

The pages are hosted on Vercel. Hosting providers process requests to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. For wider information about Convex’s data handling, see the Convex privacy policy.
